The history of The Rum Story is challenging and can be triggering. We are putting on a funded workshop for people who have participated in the shaping and curation of the re-imagined Rum Story. We will somatically explore the possible impact this may have had on you through breath and movement as we recognise and then tend to the impact.

The workshop will be led by Rowan Carr at The Rum Story on 22 September (7-8pm). To reserve a free place and find out more, email katy.haigh@rumstory.co.uk.

You will be invited into exploratory learning and application and will leave with a greater appreciation for how the ‘Body Keeps The Score’, regards nervous system activation. This can be very subtle or extreme but rest assured the antidotes are effective and not difficult for you to learn and practice.
Rowan is a Somatic Educator, creator of Body Heart Mind Somatics. He also an associate teacher of The Institute of Applied Somatics and has studied internationally with a variety of teachers.
