Meet the team
As the Chief Executive of Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners and The Rum Story, Deanne Shallcross has an ambitious vision for the future. And while the job might be very different to her previous role at Rosehill Arts Trust, and before that working in - and editing - local newspapers, many of the underlying principles remain the same. Community remains at the forefront of all the work that's driven, and carried out, by Deanne and the wider team.
Grace joined the team in December 2025 and helps organise all sorts of events - public and private - as well as overseeing our marketing.
